‘Kamusta and Welcome to my Home’ is a children’s book in the series, ‘Hello and Welcome to my Home’. It is a 84-page book comprised of over 80 individual illustrations. It showcases different items that could be found in a Filipino’s house living in Australia.
The concept was influenced by the problem space of racism and the impact it has on growing individuals and their experiences. The book aims to address the single-minded proposition of “Sharing authentic experiences for young children through the exposure of different cultures in Australia”.
